Chapz…The Wet Shave. At Chapz barber shop we offer a traditional Wet Shave experience as part of our expanding range of services. You can enjoy a Wet Shave in the privacy of our separate shaving lounge to the rear of the main salon. The shave is performed with the use of an open straight razor (cut throat type) the razor uses disposable blades, this ensures every client enjoys a hygienic and close shave. NO blade is ever used twice, ensuring our high standards of hygiene are maintained.The shave experience is very relaxing, and is the ultimate in male grooming. Allow yourself time to enjoy the shave, which will last 30 to 40 minuets.

All the products used during the shave process can be purchased for home use. (Please Click for details) Given the busy lives we lead, and the hectic pace we find ourselves following at times, the shave experience is a great way to relax and be pampered in a masculine way. Shaving at Chapz, for the moment, is on a Saturday only, so please book to avoid disappointment.

The Shave explained.

You will be greeted and made welcome by Bill, who will be performing your shave.
You will be made comfortable in the Barbers chair and relaxed.
Next step is a facial check.
This is followed by a pre-shave treatment of oils or lotions.
A hot towel is then applied to soften the bristles and relax the facial muscles.
A good lather is now applied, and the first shave begins.
Second lather and shave then follows.
Now a facial wash is applied, followed by a cold towel to soothe the face and close down the pores of the skin.
Finally, Moisturiser is applied, and a mini facial massage given.
